The Minor C Hurling Championships 2025 have reached the Quarter-Final - Semi-Final stage.
The C Championship has got a little disjointed due to the weather recently. Three of the Quarter-Finals have been played already with one to play off this weekend, while the other Semi-Final is also being played this weekend.

Lucan strong at this level as well but finished the group on 2-1, but they have scored well since that first round loss to Finians. So thats a good win over a Judes side who finished the group on 3-0 and a Points difference of +26 al be it with a WO from Cuala in R3.
Good win for Thomas Davis as well, both teams had finished the group stages on 2-1, all be it TD has a points different of -1 after a bit of a trimming in the last round from Fingallians - but i think that was a dead rubber.
Boden topped their group on 3-0 and convincing win again here - they've been very dominant in most of their games so far, so would appear very strong, scoring 17+ scores in every game. The Barrs had finished their group on 2-1 with two good wins and heavy loss to Thomas Davis.

Finians finished their group on 2-1, with a good win over Lucan in Round 1, a 3 point loss to Crokes in R2 and a big win over Pats in R3. They're one of these teams who seem to love a goal, scoring 12 in their 3 games to date, while only conceding 5 at the other end.
Like most teams in these very competitive groups, Ranelagh also finished on 2-1, unlike their opponents, they seem to get a lot of points, 18 in their first round loss to Judes, 21 in their win over cuala and in round 3 they got 4-18.
Verdict - Goals v Points - I suppose they say goals win games?
Lucan finished the group on 2-1 and had that good win over Judes side who finished the group on 3-0 in the Quarter-Final winninng 1-16 to 2-09 - which is prety convincing.
Thomas Davis had that 1-17 to 2-05 win over Vincents int he quarter final after their own 2-1 record in the groups.
Verdict - Both teams coming into this with pretty convincing QF wins. Impossible to call.

Thomas Davis awaits the winners in the Final after their big win over Lucan Bs.
Two high-scoring teams meet in what should be a very competitive semi-final. Both regularly score 17+ times in their games.
Verdict - As a new up and coming club, id like to see Raneglagh win this one, but Boden produce some amount of good hurlers. Draw, and then who knows?

Boden secure the win with a last minute goal
The Minor C hurling Championship is on Sunday November 30th
Thomas Davis have been waiting a few weeks now to find out who they would face in the final, with the other side o the draw delayed and delayed again due to the wet weather. They played their Semi-Final on November 2ndwhere they beat Lucan by Thomas Davis 5-16 v Lucan 3-08 - which was a resoinding win for a match that on paper at least, seemed like it'd be close.
Ballyboden had that last minute goal to get over the line v Ranelagh Gaels in a low scoring semi-Final, before that game they had been running up big scores, getting 17+ score in most game to date.
Verdict - Two good teams, will the long wait work against Thomas Davis?
Big win for Thomas Davis - congratulations to them, the long wait didnt do them any hard it seems. Comiserations to boden B's, some going to get to the final lo be fair.
More to follow ...
