After their pretty convincing Dublin Premier Intermediate win, Commercials now look ahead to the AIB Leinster Club Intermediate Hurling Championship 2025 Quarter-Finals against Naomh Brid from Carlow on the 8th of November in Parnell Park at 1.30PM
Naomh Bríd won only their third Carlow Intermediate title in 2025 (Previous years 2022 and 2017) play their home games in the fabulously named Superbowl.
Naomh Bríd beat Mount Leinster Rangers by 2-17 to 1-12 in the final way back on 24th August 2025.
Seems a long break between the final until next weekend, their team on the day was:
Naomh Bríd: Mark Fitzgerald 0-5, C Byrne 1-2, A Amond 0-4 (2fs), J Murphy, M Bambrick (1f) 0-3 each, R O’Neill 1-0.
Mount Leinster Rangers: P Coady 1-6 (1-4fs), J Nolan (1f), J Dalton 0-2 each, J Foley, J Cummins 0-1 each.
NAOMH BRÍD: Alan Brennan; Shane Kirwan, Adam Dunne, Ros Dermody; Tadhg O’Neill, Fiach O’Toole, Gary Dunne; Mikey Bambrick, Eanna Holland; Ruarc O’Neill, John Murphy, Mark Fitzgerald; Jamie Doyle, Colin Byrne, Aaron Amond.
Subs: Conor DeLacey for R O’Neill (38), Jack Connolly for Doyle (53), Gavin Slattery for Byrne (55), Niall Roche for Holland (57), Daniel Roche for T O’Neill (63).
If Commercials get through the Quarter-final they will meet The winners of St Mogues Fethard (Wexford) and Kilkenny champs Danesfort. so a very tough route to the final if they want to get there.

Clubber will be covering these games like they did last year, which is great.
The game will be shown on Clubber on Saturday at 1.30pm - you can see the stream here.

Very good performance by Commercials, Callum Morris, Conor McCarthy, Daniel O'Kelly, Diarmaid Ó Dúlaing, Adam Drewitt and Sean McCarthy but all round team performance.
Diarmaid Ó Dúlaing selected as the Clubber MOTM
As Sean Power says after the game, Commercials are probably more of a top of the ground team so they're having to adjust their style a bit.

Match Highlights:
A great win in the quarter-Final but now onto an altogether more tricky looking tie against the Kilkenny Intermediate Champions. Lets look into the form of their opponents. Danesfort beat James Stephens in the Kilkenny intermediate final on a score of Danesfort 2-20 - James Stephens 1-16
Here's an article by the Kilkenny people on their win

Sounds like they had James Stephens on the back foot from the get go.
County Final Highlights of the game here:
They won their first round game against the Wexford intermediate championhs St. Mogue's Fethard 2-14 (20) v 1-24 (27) Danesfort.
Make no mistake, despite their good win in the Quarter-Final, Commercials are going to be right up against it here - Kilkenny teams have won this Champsionship 13 times since 2004, losng 2 finals in that timeframe.
In the same period NO Dublin team has made the final.
A win down in the lion's den of Nowlan Park would be a massive result - we wish Commercials the best of luck!

The other Semi-Final sees Lusmagh of Offaly v Ratoath of Meath in st.Brendan’s Park, Birr
Hard luck to Commercials - it was always a tough fixture with the third-tier champions in Dublin playing the second-tier Kilkenny Champions, and playing them down in Nowlan Park makes it all the more difficult.
Commercials fought till the end, but found the work rate and physicality the referee allowed hard to get scores. The pitch was very heavy as well, which doesn't seem to suit commercials.
The final score doesn't show how hard Commercials fought back in the second half and but for a bit of bad luck, they could have had a couple of goals but the reality is that the better team won. I'm sure Commercials will learn loads from the game, it will be fascinating to see how they go next year now in the Dublin SHC2. I think they'll give a very good account of themselves.
