Scoil Uí Chonaill 3-05 - Fingal Ravens 0-18
2-0 is a good start to life in AFL2 for the relegated Ravens. Tricky start to the year for Scoil, slipping to 0-2.

St Oliver Plunkett’s/ER 1-15 - Erin’s Isle 1-11
Promoted from AFL3 meets relegated from AFL1 and both did well in the SFC2, and the former AFL1 team wins - both on 1-1 now.

Naomh Barróg 0-10 - St Sylvester’s 0-09
In this one, the Relegated team meets an upper-end mid-table team from last year, and the AFL2 team win by the narrowest of margins. Both sit on 1-1 now, in what looks like being a very competitive division.

Naomh Olaf 1-16 - Kilmacud Crokes B 0-12
Crokes struggled for points last year and have had a tricky start to the division again this year. Olafs will be glad to get 2 points on the board.

Naomh Mearnóg 1-15 - Whitehall Colmcille 2-12
Mearnóg's Round 1 game fell foul of the weather, maybe not surprising that this ended in a draw, given the league positions were pretty close last year.

St Maur’s 2-17 - Fingallians 2-08
Great start to AFL 2 for Maurs - high scoring win over a decent AFL2 team here, leaves them 2-0. Fingallians had a good win in R1 over OPER.

St Brigid’s 6-20 - Round Towers Lusk 0-01
No idea what happened here - assume some lads are missing through illness and/or injuries - would have expected Brigids to win anyways but not by anything like that margin - let's hope RTL can get things sorted.

Clanna Gael Fontenoy 1-10 - Templeogue Synge Street 3-08
Good win here for TSS - CGF still to get their first win after promotion but TSS were not far off the top last year so there will be easier games ahead.
