A really important fixture for Dublin hurlers, thye really needed to get some points on the board to get moving up the table to challenge for promotion to 1A for 2027.

With that an improving Kildare cam to Parnell Park. Credit tot he groundstaff to have the pithc playable after what feels like weeks of heavy rain now.

The Dublin team names was:

Which is a pretty strong selection, feels like we're giving quiet a few new guys a chance to stake a claim for a starting spot, but also feels to me like they're minding the workload of the UCD players, mostly playing them for 30-40 mins in each game. With UCD out now and a good break till the next game, we might start to see them get more game time.

Last years FODH young player of the year Conor Groarke is settling in really well to senior hurling. He's quick and tenacious and had bags of hurling in him.

By throw in, dublin had switched so that Diarmaid O'Dulaing started in place of Cian O'Sullivan, hopefully a tatical swithc rather then an injury issue.

Both Ollie Gaffney and David Purcell are out injured which is a shame as both had shown real promise in the Walsh cup.
