The Dublin SFC2 Final takes place in the Naul (for some reason?) this Saturday.

Lets look at each teams route to the final.
OPER finished top of group 1 with a 2-1 record. A 2 point win over Olaf's in round one, followed by a 4 point win over Brigids and then a loss in round three to Maurs.
In the quarter-Finals OPER had a big win over Fingallians who were unbeaten with 2 wins and a draw from their group, so thats a good win for OPER.
In the semi-finals OPER had a 4 point win over Erins Isle who had also been unbeaten up to that point, they finished the group on 2 wins and a draw and who had a one point win over Brigids in the Quarter-Final.
Skerries came through their group on 3-0 with a points difference of +57, big wins over Clanna Gael, Naomh Mearnig and Pobal Parnell. Where they only conceded 13 points across the three games.
Harps got a good game from Scoil in the QF at least, winning that 18-14 and another battle in the SF where they won by 4 again 1-15 to St.Pats Donabate's 1-11 - Pats had come through their group on 3-0 as well and a Points difference of +28 and had won their QF over RTC by 1-17 to 0-12. So it was a good win for Harps.
Harps would seem to be the stronger team based on results to date but it's a final and anything could happen.

The Game:

Congratulations to Skerries Harps, they ran up a big halftime lead, commiserations to OPER did well to reel them in with a great fight back in the second half but couldnt quite get there. It'll be interesting to see how both clubs go next year in SFC1.
