The Intermediate Hurling final between Lucan Sarsfields and Scoil Ui Chonaill takes place this Sunday as the curtain raiser to the Premier Intermediate Final.

Lets take a look at their paths to the Final: 

Lucan Sarsfields: 

The table is now messed up with the semi-finals included in them, but i think Lucan topped the table with 6 wins and a draw in the group stage, which is a serious level of cinsistency.

• Round Two: W - 1-29 - GCLG 2-16
• Round Three: D 3-16 - Crokes 2-19
• Round Four: W 2-20 - Peregrines 1-18
• Round Five: W 1-22 - 1-21
• Round Six: W 1-34 -Maurs 1-13 ‍
• Round Seven: W 0-19 - Scoil 0-18

Then in the knockout stage: 

• Semi-Final: W 1-30 - Crumlin 2-14

Scoil Ui Chonaill:

Scoil also had a really consistent run through the group stage, the only loss coming against the opponents in the final this Sunday.

• Round One: W - 2-25 - Maurs 2-11
• Round Two: W - 1-19 to RTC 1-18
• Round Three: W 2-25 - Crumlin 2-16
• Round Four: W - 2-18 - GCLG 2-10
• Round Five: W 2-16 - Crokes 2-14
• Round Six: W 2-19 - Peregrines 0-10 ‍
• Round Seven: L - 0-18 - Lucan 0-19

Then in the knockout stage: 

• Semi-Final: W AET - 1-28 - Crokes 1-27

The Verdict: 

The the head to head between the two being a one point game it's really impossible to call, going to be down to who goes better on the day. Scoills one point win over Crokes in the semi-final might help them in terms of battle readiness? But flip of a coin either way.
