Kevin’s face Clonad of Laois in the Leinster Junior Hurling Quarter-Final on Saturday, 8th November at 1.30pm in O’Toole Park.
Kevin's had a strong Dublin Junior A campaign and have recent experience in the Leinster Leagues, beating Clonad earlier this year 1-13 to 1-10. This will be the first Leinster Championship run for most of the current squad.
It’s the club’s first time representing Dublin in this competition since 2002, when Kevin’s reached the Leinster Final, losing narrowly to Kilkenny’s Blacks & Whites. Only four Dublin clubs, Kevin’s, St Vincent’s, Naomh Fionbarra and Commercials, have ever made the final, with none yet taking the title.
With the game close to home, hopefully Kevins will get a strong local support as they aim to make a bit of new history.
